Opinions wanted on temp setup (BIG pictures!)

I ended up trading the powder blue for a pair of azureus froglets to a friend who was willing to swap. Following the advice given resulting from my previous post, I have made this setup.

The outside:

I like this particular style of bin, because it has a locking top, and it sits on the floor. Since we have both cats and dogs, this is important. As you can see, I use Rep-Cal. In this case, I had some older powder, so I mixed it with Miner-All (which I'll be switching to totally after this runs out) and the frogs seem to like it, along with my various lizards. The fact that it's expired doesn't seem to make a difference. And why should it? It's just ground oyster shells.

Anyway, here's a shot of the bottom.

One of the frogs decided to peep his head out just as I was taking the picture. That's 'Bug Dirt' from tarantulas.com in the bottom. Seems to work just fine, with nothing bad in it. That round white thing is the lid to the Rep-Cal container, which I use to semi-contain the fruit flies I'm feeding them. So far I have 2 smaller cultures going, waiting on an order for a culturing kit from saurian.net. As you can see, I added some leaf litter from our backyard. Since oak trees don't grow around here, I opted for maple leaves. The tree isn't sprayed, and even if it was, it's been raining so hard here, it wouldn't matter. Any opinons are welcome.

You might want to put in a few potted plants for humidity purposes. Just remember to wipe down the leaves with warm water and put some moss on the top of the soil to prevent frogs from accessing the fertilizer. You can also use Sphagnum Moss which holds moisture quite well. It looks great otherwise. I have two D.Azureus' that I bought this past April from Black Jungle. They are huge now and will be breeding hopefully this winter.

i would add some live plants, common philodendron or pothos cuttings would be great for the job. they add cover, and also aid in reducing waste build up in tanks (or temp set-ups in this case). i have heard that spagnum moss also fights against bacterial growth, but i am unsure if this is true... but it can't hurt. also, you may want to consider throwing in springtails for the frogs to have something to snack on between feedings.
