Cat Cold

I just adopted a second cat and it now has a cold. It is sneezing,coughing and has sticky eyes. Are there anythings I can do to help before I take it to the vet?

Hi David,

There really isn't anything you can do on your own to help this kitty. The best thing would be to make an appointment for a vet exam. The newcomer should be tested for feline leukemia and FIV also. I am hoping that he is being isolated in the meantime.

Please let us know what the vet says.
