We just found out that our cat may need to have radiation treatment for cancer in the ear. Our options were euthanasia or radiation treatment. She has already had both ears surgically removed. Has anyone else had experience with radiation therapy?

Hi,
I am so sorry that your cat has cancer. I personally haven't had any experiences with radiation therapy in any of my babies, but I recommend getting a second opinion and doing some research. You want to be aware of all possible adverse reactions and how effective this treatment is likely to be. There may even be another option, such as cryosurgery, which would be treating the cancer by freezing the cells with a special spray solution.
