Pro Plan kitten food

abukuchick Oct 16, 2004 01:12 PM

I was wondering if anyone has fed their kittens the proplan canned kitten food. I started giving it to Kola when she wasn't eating to see if a change of flavor might perk up her appetite. Now it's her favorite food and she'll take it over the wellness kitten food any day! I wanted to know if this is a good quality food or at least not bad quality food for her to her grow big and strong. I usually buy my kitties only the best food, but I'm not sure if I should put her back on the wellness. She does eat more of the Proplan at a time then the wellness, most likely because the wellness has more nutrients per bite. I'm pretty much just glad she's eating but I want to make sure I'm not feeding her the kitty equivalent of McDonalds!

I am a little weird, but my theory is pretty much if they like it and they eat it and they don't have diarrhea with it, then it is good cat food. I have several brands here due to 18 cats varying wishes for what is in their bowl. We have everything from Friskies to Science Senior and everyone is happy and healthy.
