Insanity

botchlatear Dec 02, 2004 11:35 AM

My 5 mo. old kittens are insane.

insane.

insane.

They have developed this Weird habit of running at me and jumoing onto my thighs, or back, of whatever they can, digging their little claws into me, and just hanging on.
I'm sure I look like a maniac with two little cats clinging onto me while I do a painful little dance trying to pry them off. Syren has also developed the habit of whenever any of my ody parts is out from under the covers at night, she claws into them and starts chewing on me. It isn't a pretty sight.

Please tell me they will grow out of this.

I had kittens that did that and they grew out of it after a few weeks. One got me right after I got out of the shower. I screamed so loud it scared him, but I had like 10 puncture wounds on my thigh!

The one I have now used to do it (he's about 8 wks now) but he'd crawl the whole way up your body and sit on your shoulder. He stopped doing that once he discovered how much fun it was torturing the other cat.

Sorry, I am laughing here too. Quite a picture and one I have seen many times. They are not insane.....they are kittens and you are their Mommy. Kittens climb all over their MommyCat so why not you? They will grow out of it. Yell ouch, remove them from your body and ignore them for a while. Hopefully they will learn Mommy doesn't like this.

Oh I do a whole lot more than say ouch! I scream!
I guess all kittens are nutty. I've had cats before. But these are my first kittens if you can't tell!

Oh you think you have insanity there? Try having 18 cats, the oldest being 17 years old and grumpy and the youngest are 6 one year olds! When they all get going, it is like living in a war zone of felines. And trust me they are all nuts.
