Is she pregnant???

Bratty_cat_12 Apr 30, 2005 12:36 PM

Before I get all excited, is she pregnant? Her stomach is getting firm and she has like a big blue vein going through her stomach and some of her nipples. Now she doesn't like being around other cats. She's starting to have gas too.

THANX,

Well, without seeing her or knowing her, I can only guess. But my best guess is......if she hasn't been spayed and was allowed to be around male cats, yes, she is pregnant.

I can kind of understand why you would be excited about this but since there are already too many cats put to death each year because 'nobody wanted them', then this is really not a good thing.

I truly hope that you find homes for these kittens so that they don't end up in the streets fending for themselves or, even worse, as snake food.

Please get your mama kitty fixed so this doesn't happen again.

If she is unspayed and has been around males...chances are that she is pregnant. Kinda hard for me to guess without seeing the cat myself. You will know soon enough cause she will look like a football with feet. Make sure that she gets all the food that she wants and keep her in so that she doesn't have her kittens outside somewhere. And after she has the kittens and weans them, spay her so it doesn't happen again.
