Poor Rosie!

hisgirl93 May 31, 2005 02:12 PM

Well you remember me posting about my sick foster babies. They have all recovered and all but one has been adopted. Unforunately the one who was the sickest seems to have suffered some sort of neurological defect because of it. Her hind legs don't work right and her head shakes alot- sort of like parkinson's. It's so sad! Anyone experienced anything like that with kittens? We are hoping it will get better as she grows. But now at least she is healthy and playful...even if she can't run across the room like other kittens. I hope that we find some kind hearted person to adopt her- she is the beautiful white kitten I posted a pic of earlier. We decided that if no one wants her then we will take her though.

Sounds like a kitten we had at the shelter and I think one that Wis has.

Poor baby. Does sound like Wiscatsin5's Sylvie. Hers has Cerebral Hypertrophy, I think it is called. Basically it is a brain injury. As long as Rosie can play, eat and use the box, she should be a fine kitty. Just a little "special".
