Will she have them at home????

Bratty_cat_12 Jun 15, 2005 12:44 PM

Sweetie's nipples are leaking and she's always meowing. The only problem is she won't stay home. She's always in the woods. She'll come home to eat and then turn around and go right back in. How can I keep her home????????????????????????????????????

Thanx ahead of time,
the brat

P.S. we got 2 new brats
Sunny the demon kitty
Dora the little lady

I would try to contain sweetie in a room in your home. Set up a box in a quiet place for her. Put a litter box, food and water in the room and keep her in there.
I had a friend who's cat got out and had the babies outside. She never found the kittens until they were 5 months old and feral.

good luck.

She's not allowed in the house. There are Tom cats everywhere so that gives me an even greater reason to be worried. Mom and dad are worried that Sunny will kill the kittens.

Last night you told us that she was in the bedroom and kept coming out and going back in, now she isn't allowed in the house? Why? If your parents are worried about her and the kits, the only way to know where they are is to keep them in. If there are toms out there, and they think the kits are not theirs, they will kill them so they can mate with Sweetie. And Jamie is right, if she hides them somewhere outside, you will not have much of a chance to handle them and they will be scared of people and feral.

Yesterday mom found out about her being inside and put her out. Today I tried petting Sweetie and she meowed and ran to the woods as usual. Today I was able to catch her for a while around7:00 but now she's out again.

I would bring her some place that will keep her inside. Do you have a neighbor that would take her or maybe a no kill shelter with volunteers?

If your in Maine or Mass I can probably find someone to help out.
