Question about supplements and/or vitamins!!!!

tool_u2 Oct 14, 2003 08:18 AM

Hi everyone! I was wondering what the ideal dietary supplement for baby BD's would be. Right now, I'm feeding Norbert (~4 mo. old) crix with mineral supplement dusted on them (it's called Tetrafauna Reptolife powdered nutritional supplement). It DOES have calcium and vit. D3, which I know are important for BD's. However, I was wondering if I should give Norbert more. Is this supplement enough? If not, is there some kind of magic combination out there that someone might be willing to suggest (lol)? Thanks for the input!!!!!!!

OH yeah.....we've been having problems with Norbert (suspecting coccidia).....took a fecal to the vet and they couldn't determine anything because the fecal was too small and they couldn't search it very well. Is coccidia (or any parasite for that matter) easy to see in a fecal exam? I know many of you are not vets, but I thought I'd ask!!!

Yes, look into the t-rex sandfire superfoods line of products. There are 3 for bd's veggie growth. veggie mainanance, and insect dust. They are all designed to be used as often as you like without having to worry about overuse. Cool username by the way, I'm assuming you are also a Tool fan.
good luck
