New Kitten not going to the toilet

Hells Nov 04, 2006 06:10 AM

I've got a new kitten, and it just isn't going to the toilet at all. It eats normally, but there's nothing in the litter tray, and I can't find any little accidents anywhere. How often are they supposed to go? What's going on here? thanks

If that kitten is eating, drinking and playing normally. I would bet that she/he is going to the bathroom somewhere. Place the kitten in the box right after she eats and wakes up and see if she gets the idea. If you find her present toilet area, put some of the stool in the litter box and show it to her.

And if you haven't found anything by Monday call the vet!
Remember kittens are little they can go under almost anything.
