shes about 1 yr. old. shes been used to going outside by now but after changing her food brand she seems to be eating less.
im worried that she might have something wrong with her.
any tricks or ideas that might help her eat?
shes quite skinny so im worried for her health.

I think the best thing you can do is take your cat in for an exam and bloodwork, ASAP. She isn't eating and is losing weight and you need to find out why and have her treated. Chances are that whatever is ailing her is very treatable, but please don't wait.

You can try some strained meat baby foods (with no onion added), to try and get your kitty to eat, but the best thing is to find out why she isn't eating in the first place. If she has stopped eating entirely she is at risk of developing serious liver problems.

Her vet's office isnt open today unless in case of emergencies. Would you consider her case an emergency or should i wait until tomorrow or monday to take her in?

If he isn't eating at all, then he needs to go to the Vet as soon as possible. If he is eating and drinking some, then Monday would be okay but no later than that. I would keep him inside until you find out what is going on with him. Good luck and let us know how things go.
