I would take the baby to the vet immediately, especially considering his young age!

Hi,
I know nothing about scorpions, but I would imagine this WOULD be something to worry about. The next time you are faced with a potential emergency, please contact a vet immediately. These boards are great but not meant to be used for potential life-threatening situations.
I sincerely hope your kitten is ok.

PHKitkat
I know nothing about scorpions but it sure doesn't sound like a good thing to happen to an infant. I hope by now that you have called a Vet and/or taken the kit to the Vet to be examined. Coming to a board for help is not a good decision, number one we are not Vets, number two we are not sitting here waiting to answer questions so it may be as long as 24 hours before you get a response. That can very well be too late.

Yes I contacted a vet immediatly. Actually my fiance was on the phone with them and seeing how I was already on the interntet I decided to ask. So everyone knows it turns out that cat's are very resealiant (don't think I spelled that right lol!) to scorpion venom and it isn't a big concern. However I was told that if it had been a dog or puppy than I would have had to acted immediatly or the dog very well could have died.
FYI- This is what I was told but am not sure if it is correct or not.
Thank you very much to all of you that posted and were concerned for my little guy. He is doing just fine.
