where did everyone go?

CarolEm&Ed Oct 16, 2005 02:41 PM

It's been way too quiet here lately.

Where is everyone?

I finally caved in and bought a digital camera. Have been following Emily and Eddie around the house taking all kinds of pictures. Now all I need to do is figure out how to make the files small enough to post here.

Carol, you need a photo-editing program to reduce the size of the files... ideal for posting on the internet is about 50kb. If I remember correctly, you use a mac. I am not sure if it works on macs, but Google has a free program called Picassa which is fairly simple.

I'm here. Chris and SkuShi are here. All is well at our house. Chris spends most of his time on the bed doing his kitty-ball imitation. SkuShi loves to lay on the bathmat in our bathroom because the ceramic tile floor is heated. Problem is, she also likes to pull the bathmat apart..........so consequently she doesn't get to be in there too often.

TONKS ARE GREAT, EVEN WHEN THEY'RE SLEEPING!

I'm still here and Liat is still outsmarting me. In addition, as the weather has turned, the snuggle level has increased dramatically.

Isn't that the truth! The minute the nights start to get cool Emily and Eddie are falling all over themselves to be not just WITH me, but ON me.

Both Emily and Eddie are shoulder sitters, which is fine, but Eddie also is a leaper. If he wants to be on my shoulder he jumps--regardless of where I am, what I'm doing, or--worst of all--if I know he's coming. Depending on all of the above and where his leap begins, he may or may not arrive at my shoulder on the first try.

The other day I decided I was chilly and started to pull a sweatshirt over the turtleneck I had on. I had the thing over my head and my arms in the air and, all of a sudden, there was Eddie hanging off my back. Fortunately, he'd managed to snag the bottom of the sweatshirt--a little more between me and his claws than there would have been if he'd hit the turtleneck instead.

All I can say is it's a good thing for him that I'm used to this by now. And, it's a good thing for me that he only weighs 7 pounds...

Tonks. Ya gotta love them!
