Parazap and dusting crickets

KarenM Feb 08, 2003 02:40 PM

Just got a clear fecal exam for coccidia and wanted to give Ziggy Parazap as a preventative for other parasites. He ate a few crickets yesterday that were dusted with it and now he won't touch them even though they aren't dusted. Is it possible that he just doesn't like the taste or what? Any suggestions?

...my collared lizards did the exact same thing. I don't know if I put to much on the crickets and made them cough or what. Now I only use the stuff once a week and lightly coat the prey. I wouldn't doubt it that it doesn't taste too terrible good either!

Hi
you can better make tea .
if you make tea and then after its cooled of you pour it trough a coffee filter ,so no fibers r left.
then you give that water to them it wil work better and i noticed then they wil like it more.
if you beardie have worms then a schedule of 7 days on 7 days of 7 days on is recomended .
i use 1 cc tea for 1oo gram animal.
dont mind if he drink more but i use that as minium rule.
