is it ok to have bugs in your cage?

i just setup my new cage and i used dirt for a supstrate. i noticed that it was covered in little small slugs. is it harmful to monitors.

How big is the monitor. I would say leave them in there depending on the monitor size he may eat them.

they are two blue spotted timor monitors. the size of my monitors about 7" or 8".

..some people say that any little bugs you get with the dirt, is a BONUS. They help keep your cage clean, by breaking down any monitor crap that is left there. D.
