Siblings?

mommytobayla May 06, 2006 09:45 AM

Bayla and Levi seem to have taken on the role of siblings. They adore each other but love to torment and tease each other too. Levi sniffs out and goes for the stuffed animals that smell most like Bayla, and since these are her obvious favorites, she flips out and cries or yells at him and grabs them away. They cuddle up together in rest mode (he is curled up next to her right now and she was petting his paw) but they really seem to compete with each other for my attention. Last night he knocked a snow globe her dad bought for her for their first birthday apart, and while the globe itself did not break (thankfully) the decorations did, and I had to glue them back together. She was crying with such sincere sadness saying "Levi, that is even more special than you, my daddy bought that for me, how could you do that!" To soothe each of them, I put him in the bed room while I glued it back together and comforted her. Ugggg, is this what it is like to parent multiple children?

Well, since Tonks think they are human then the answer to your question is yes!!!! And they will figure out human things to do to get or steal your attention.

Your lucky Levi really took to your daughter...Bentley is very jealous of my 5 year old and goes out of his way to keep Alex away from me...it's actually pretty funny...Alastair is so laid back nothing phases him, and I purposely bonded Finster to Alex so the two of them actually entertain each other...

Now my 2 greyhounds that's a different story...both crave my attention only and try and outdo each other...

so in my house, although I only physically gave birth to one...I really have 6 kids...oh wait...make that 7 including my husband!!!!

Great pic by the way both are very beautiful!!!!
