How come...

2TonksHere Jun 20, 2006 08:34 AM

During the day my three cherubs curl up in the tiniest little balls and sleep in a pile on top of each other taking up the most minimal amount of space...and I have four million pictures to prove this...

BUT AT NIGHT WHEN I AM IN THE BED...

I wake up twisted in a contorted "S" with three cats stretched out fully in the most stratically uncomfortable places, randomly above and below the covers...so that even a king size bed simply is not big enough for all of us...add my husband to the mix on the weekends when he is home from work and I might as well sleep on the floor with the dogs...

it's definitely some kind of phenomenon I wasn't warned about!!!

It's part of the Cat Code: "When allowing your humans to use the bed be sure to take up as much space as possible--preferably in the middle of the bed--so as to remind them who is really in charge."
