WHERE IS EVERYONE????

CarolEm&Ed Jan 28, 2007 05:52 PM

Terry asked the question the other day without shouting.

Now I'm turning up the volume.

As the subject line asks: WHERE IS EVERYONE???

Emily and Eddie are getting very, very lonely. They wanna know what their friends on this board and the people they own are up to...

We're here. It's been a combination of busy and a genuine pain. Had the kids here for Christmas and then I blew a lumbar disc while shoveling snow so I'm now 11 days post op back surgery.
I'm a bit worried about Chris; he hasn't been piddling much and with that surgery he had over two years ago, I pay very close attention to his litterbox activities.
I'll keep you all posted.

Since I am currently without a tonk, I haven't been spending too much time around this message board...

I am currently anxiously awaiting the time next month when I can pick up my new kitten. The breeder had some kittens that were ready earlier this month, but for some reason I had a better "feeling" about the litter ready to go in Feb. (Anyone else get those wierd, unexplainable feelings?) The two girls I will have to pick from are both honey minks, which are pretty rare. I have been busy with name books trying to get ideas for my new addition!

Nothing much has been going on here on the Tonk front. Bumbles is he only Tonk I have left. He is retired from the show ring (has been for a few yers now) and just had his 11th purrday in Dec. I'm currently focusing on my Turkish Angora breeding program. Please know that I still read the boards on a regular basis and love to keep up to date on everyone elses antics.

we're here. but i'm pretty tired. rigby has been burrowing under the covers like he's digging a hole to china, and in the process, i keep getting kicked in the head and woken up. he'll sit there a few minutes and then run back out and start again... but of course, i can't complain. i love the furkid!

We are here trying to keep warm...the south has no business having 20 degree weather!!!!

Although my three maniacs have found the purrrfect way to beat the cold...they discovered the heating vents on the floor and whenever things are quiet you can bet they are each on a different one soaking up the warmth...smart kitties...

We just visited my parents this weekend and got to see their 2 Tonks...Bentley's father and brother Jazz & Duente...they are both Champagne Minks and it is very hard to tell them apart...well Duente decided it would be a lot of fun to hide for 4 hours from us...we got very worried he had gotten out of the house when we came in with the bags and dogs...we searched every crevice of the house for a very long time...and then when it started to get dark I went around with the flashlight hoping to catch Duente's eye reflection...and sure enough I found him...he had been hiding the whole time in the bathroom on the ledge on top of the shower doors which is conveniently hidden from view by the bathroom door when opened...we had searched the bathroom about 5 times...and he must've just been sitting there thinking we were nuts...needless to say...unlike my 3...my parent's cats DO NOT come when called...and unlike Fin and Bentley who had joined in the search for Ali when he went missing...Jazz did not budge from on top of the kitchen cabinets to help us look...bad bad kitties!!!!
