Circling

2TonksHere Feb 22, 2007 09:12 AM

Alastair has this strange behavior...every night at about 7:30/8:00 we are sitting down watching TV he will start circling the house...last night he passed in front of us about 8 times...he just walks through the family room through the center hallway into the kitchen which connects back into the family room...around and around...he stops only when the other two finally pounce on him from the couch...

any ideas? It's pretty funny actually, although he seems real serious about it...

That's just too funny.

Two possibilities:

1. He heard that it's good to take a walk after dinner.
2. He think's he's the night watchman.

Can't add anything to that except Tonks are just a little strange sometimes

Well, last night he must have been feeling extremely energetic...we counted 36 laps by the end of the night...we do love him...but he is a strange cat sometimes!!!!

He must think he's entered in a NASCAR race.

After we had Chris in our family for awhile, we visited the owner of both of his parents. Chris' mom was very laid back (very much like Chris) and his father was this big hunky Tonk who did nothing but walk around the living room in a circle. It looked as if he was very intentional in his route as he walked directly in front of each person's chair. His name was ShuMai and mom's name was Saki Bu. Anyway, ShuMai was quite the showoff and reminded me of a feline body builder stalking around in front of admirers.
