It's too quiet

I find it hard to believe the tonk community isn't up to some sort of mischief. Is everybody curled up under blankets avoiding the cold? Liat wants to know.

We've just been acclimating our newest addition...all the drama has subsided finally and they can all be in the same room together without all the hissing, spitting and swatting...

It turns out though, that Delilah was an only pet for the last 11 years, so although she is now tolerating the dogs and has accepted there are three other cats around who are going to share the food and the litterbox...she still has some strict space boundaries...

Unfortunately for her, Alastair simply does not understand this and continues to try and get up close and personal...as far as he is concerned "all cats lay in a pile"...she is a cat...and therefore must pile...I can also tell that as resident "groomer" of all that is furry...he really really wants to get a hold of her long fluffy coat...

It will be interesting to see who caves first...

Emily and Eddie want to see a picture of Delilah. (So do I!)

Actually, it's been unseasonably warm here in Northern Virginia for the past few days. Yesterday there were several hundred robins all over the neighborhood, and some of them are still here today. I just counted about a dozen in my back yard. I'm hoping that means we're in for an early spring.

As for Emily and Eddie, they were too busy napping to notice all the birds. In fact, I don't think they know what a bird is. I put a feeder right outside my office window where they could see it and they have never shown any interest in it at all.
