Flying with kitties

Cailin Oct 04, 2008 11:53 PM

Hi all! Just thought I would update that my girls and I flew across the country together and made it successful. I had both Sina and Lea in one bag (I lied and said they were 6 months old because that way they will let you have two kitties in one carrier) and had no problems at all.

In case anyone else is planning to fly- get a Teafco Argo carrier! They are pricey but it worked really, really well for me. It is designed so that they have plenty of air and can see out, but it is difficult to see in. It also doesn't look like a pet carrier- which was great. During two flights and walking all around the airports only one person was able to tell that I had cats with me! I bought mine on Amazon.com on sale ($60 when they are normally around $110).
