Introducing Cara & Mia

2dzzz Oct 19, 2008 02:48 PM

We got two new Tonk kittens this past Thursday. I have posted a photo of the newcomers, Cara & Mia in the photo gallery. They are settling in slowly, now pretty much staying out from under the bed. They are eating & using their box, chatting, exploring and they LOVE to be petted & to play.

We still miss Dominique terribly but know she would not want us to be as lonely as we've been without her.

Will post more photos.

Denise,

That is such good news!
I'm sure that Dominique will always have a special place in your heart, but there's no better way to heal the pain of the loss.
And there's nothing more special than a kitten -- unless it's two kittens!

Carol, Emily, & Eddie

PS: I couldn't find the pictures of Cara and Mia. Where did you post them?

I tried to post them twice to the Tonkinese section of the photos but have not come up either time....I must be doing something wrong.

Try making the file smaller. That's a problem I've had in the past when trying to post pictures.

oh yay! two kitten tonks sound like fun, and will keep you busy. when i lost my kleopatra, i was devistated. eventually i got two kittens, and it just helped to heal my broken heart. it also turned me into a multi-cat person. i only had the one before and thought that was enough. but now i see two is just as easy as I, but much funnier when they play and cuddle together...

I've been away for a little while recovering from surgery...

I'm so sorry to hear about Dominique I know how hard it is to lose a companion...

But, congrats on the new additions...nothing like the chaos of two kittens to make things interesting...
