Getting to Know Mew - 9-23-06

This week's burning question is:

If you were another person, would YOU be friends with you?

Smile, it will make them wonder what you are up to!

I suppose so. I tend to be nice most of the time and I'm a good listener!

I'd like to think so. Friends tend to confide in me and come to me for advice. I have friends that I know would help me in a crisis (loan me a large amount of money, for example) and I'd do the same for them. It is kind of an unspoken thing... For that level of trust, something has to be right both ways.

That's a tough question -- to assess yourself...

Tammy's right; this is a difficult assessment!
However, I think I would be. (providing I was a person
with a rather wierd sense of humor)
I have old friends from when I was six so tend to
keep them a long time.

Strange question this week MA!

Well I tend to have friends that are extremely loud. And I am a quiet person. But I tend to keep my friends. My five closest friends, I have been friends with from six yrs to 25 yrs.

no. I'm reserved, too analytical, not a joiner. I don't work to make people immediately like me, I want a little time to get to know what you're about. Sin of all sins, I forget birthdays.

But on the flip side, I keep friends across years and miles. They say I'm funny and an unusually empathetic listener. Several openly campaigned to be called "friend". (?!?!?) My funboy husband has commented he knows more people who like him, but my friends LOVE me.

Tough question Madame A!

I know you are a perfect friend to many. It takes all types to make the world go around. I have friends on both sides of the spectrum. It would be so boring if we were all alike... We need differences to feed our strengths and weaknesses...

Hmmmmmmmmmmm, tough question Ma, but I think I would have to say yes....I've always been just as happy to be by myself as to be in a crowd of people...
