This week's burning question is:
What is your favorite pair of shoes?

I have three very old pairs of San Antonio Shoe Factory sandals that I adore. They are so comfortable! Unfortunately they are too grundgy to wear anywhere anymore. But I occasionally sneak out with the black ones on since they don't show dirt!

So weird I just had a dream about my shoes last night. LL Bean comfort mocs are my favorite winter shoe. They slip on nicely.
Summer shoes my favorite pair of sandals DIED! I have to find new ones.

My favorite shoes are Easy Spirits and I have them in every color they make. I wear them to work every day. Around home my favorite are bare feet or slippers. And for every day, sneakers. Nike to be exact

My black suede ankle boots. I've worn them so often that the heels are starting to wear out.

For Summer, I have a pair of dark brown Bass two strap sandles I love dearly, but they are beyond the state one wears out in public. I picked up a taupe colored pair that are the same style that I broke in last Summer... I am trying to give them a chance, and they should be much loved by the end of this Summer.
For cooler weather, I have a pair of Bass clogs (not clunky, a simple sleek brown leather) that, again, should be retired, but I've been to the nearby Bass Outlet more than once and they don't seem to make them any more. Oh, dear...

For work, I have 2 pairs of Easy Spirit "Jumpers", they are so comfy as they have a built in cushy sole. For dress, they are ugly, but easy spirit Mary Jane's. The search for a comfortable pair of flats (can't wear heels) has been on-going for a few years now...The elusive animal must exist somewhere.

Ohhh! I had a pair of Nine West black lace up ankle boots I wore for 10 years....they were the all time best! Happy happy memories.
The past several years I have lived in a variety of heeled loafers, just one pair after another....
$3 plain cheapo flat white canvas tennies from Walmart. Every season I buy about 10 pair of them, and wear them throughout the year as house shoes, garden shoes, and the whitest ones for going somewhere. Love my flat tennies!

Shoes? We are supposed to wear shoes?
Just kidding. Inside the house I wear my favorite pair. The ones covered in skin that God put on the end of my legs.
When I go out the door I prefer my flip flops. In the winter or to go to work I'll break down and put on my sneakers.

MA, I too have a pair of SAS, but not sandals... they're more like an oxford, but soft. However, they are headed for the garbage can as there are holes in the uppers, and the upper has separated from the sole in a few places. I've used them for yard work the last few years. A few months ago a new SAS store opened up in Santa Rosa so Mom and I made a nice Sunday drive up and I got a new pair! Just as comfy as the old ones. I also splurged and got a couple of pairs of loafers for work.
I have such a hard foot to fit that finding shoes is always a problem. Very few companies even make decent women's shoes in a size 5, and with a very high arch and instep, getting a comfortable fit is difficult. Sandals are almost impossible as they rarely have enough arch support for me to be able to walk more than a few yards before the pain starts!
