house gecko humidity level?

lele Oct 14, 2003 01:17 PM

OK, I'm confused....I have read that house/mediterranean geckos should have a relatively high humidity level. However, in a post below Bryan commented they are housed much like leopard gecko and I thought they like it quite dry. I have my house gecks in a nicley planted 20 gal vivarium. Please send me to a good RELIABLE care sheet and/or advise me if I am doing it wrong.

thanks!

Dont worry too much about it. You can keep them at room humidty or slightly higher (40-60). You can even take it up to 70-80 if you really want.....generally helps them shed. They are very versetile and can live in your house if you let them go and it doesnt drop below 65 for too long...
