The Write Stuff

What does your penmanship look like? Palmer Cursive to the bitter end, or something a Doctor would be proud of?

Mine has morphed into a cross between cursive and printed (non-cursive). It is not pretty anymore... Sometimes even I am not sure what I wrote down...

My great-aunt passed away about 5 years ago in her early 90s. She was a nun, Mother Superior at one point. Taught for many years. We started corresponding for much of her 80s. Her letters would make me sit up straight and try my best to write back neatly to her. She had the most beautiful Palmer Cursive penmanship, even in her 80s...

Cursive here. My Mother is a retired elementary school teacher and my Dad holds a doctorate in education so I never had a chance.

I have horrible hand writing. I try my hardest when writing on the board for the children. But if I'm writing a letter it's not pretty.

My aide told me last year that I must have failed handwriting class.

A mix between cursive and printed. Dad was an art teacher so he allowed some leeway - but big, fat loopy "girly" writing was strictly not allowed.

Ha! Good one, Elizabeth, I know exactly what you are talking about. I never could write like that. Seems like it would take a lot of time.

My handwriting in half cursive and half printed. I'm pretty good on my cursive signature though.
