Have you ever been to Las Vegas?

Were you lucky enough to see Elvis perform live?

Nope and Nope. Just a kid when he passed away, but Las Vegas is on my list to do/see. Actually, the Grand Canyon is on the list higher than Vegas, but if I'm in the area, I'll see both...

I always said before I died, I wanted to downhill ski, white water raft, and go on a cruise. In the past 7 years, I've downhill skied twice, white water rafted once, and cruised twice. I had to quickly add something to the list since I had accompished everything I wanted to prior to death... Didn't want lightening to strike. Grand Canyon is now on the list...

Only when I was a kid with my dad driving the family through on vacation. It looked amazing with all of the bright lights late at night.

The most gambling that I ever do is the powerball lotto sometimes. BTW their main headquarters are located so very close to me, in my own little town. You'd think that they'd give me some kind of a tip or something. My best friend's boyfriend did win 10 million in the very early years of the Iowa Powerball.

My dad use to have morning coffee with a pair of brothers, each who won over 20 million in the state lottery years ago. Both worked a few more years until they reached retirement. None of that luck wore off. Dad has played $2 a week for over a decade with a group at the coffee shop - I don't think they have hit more than $70.

It's 105 million right now. I'd be happy with even a small portion of that. I know that I won't win that one because I didn't get my lottery ticket for today. My "lucky numbers" are going to have to wait until Saturday now. Hopefully the millions will be waiting for ME as well.

Been twice - and the second time I rode the bus with young Elvis. He looked pretty good for having been dead over 20 years!

The first time we spent the night during a cross country trip - the rodeo nationals were in town, along with what seemed like dozens of country singers and every hooker in 6 states. On my!

The second time I went for a destination wedding during August when everyone in Europe is on vacation. I think we were the only English speakers on our floor of the hotel. Saw a number of children and not a single hooker.

We used to go every year until 9-11. Now I would have to knock my husband out cold to get him on a plane. It was fun, I loved to window shop, and it got me in BIG trouble. One day we went to Caeser's Palace, and he asked to go and get him a pack of cigerettes from the consession stand. I love to go wandering and said sure,,,, 3 hours later he had the police out looking for me on an APB,,,, I had found THE MALL (forum shops). Thought I died and went to heaven, wandering from Disney, to Gucci, Tiffany, etc. Was in deep doo-doo,,,
Never saw Elvis, never liked him alive or dead. Did see Sigfried and Roy, and those marvelous white tigers, they were gorgeous. One year we at at Emeril's Delmonico, wow what a meal. It was expensive, but fantastic!!
The closest I get to a casino is Mohegan Sun in Conn, about an hour from us. He plays, I go shopping or a show. A friend of mine, male (and gay) goes with me as my date. Saw Luciano Pavoratti with him. The most I ever won anywhere is a diamond ring from Mohegan. Was playing this crazy machine, hit special symbols and a certificate popped out saying I won a diamond ring of my choice!! Not bad for a quarter...
