If you could bring back any show or shows on to TV (with new episodes), what would it be? What are some of your favorite TV shows...

Purely entertainment, no nutrition for the mind here...

I loved Ally McBeal, NYPD Blue, Angel, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer of recent years. SITCOMs I loved are Wings and Coach... Would love to see any of those back on TV...

I must be older than you folks - NYPD Blue was actually a spin-off of an earlier version of Hill Street Blues - probably one of my more favorite TV shoes to watch.

Hill Street Blues was one of the first to pop to mind - not for me, but if I had the power to bring back old favorites my mother would never forgive me for not requesting this one.

For myself, Rockford Files, X-files and Wings. Big Scary Man walks through the house singing the theme song of Lowell's favorite kid's show on Wings - "Big Strong Man! Lifts heavy things just because he can!"

Add X-Files to my list. HOW could I have forgotten it?

Dontcha just love Wings? One of my very favorite SITCOMs. About equal at the top of the list is Coach...

Current day, I love Two and a Half Men...

I liked X-Files, but the last couple seasons weren't that good. After Mulder left and Skully had the baby, things kind of went downhill IMO. That's the reason I didn't list it as one of the top TV shows.

You've got a point

X-files always left me with a creepy sense of anticipation from week to week - something wicked this way comes, a little thrill that no other show has ever given. I'll watch Medium once in a while because the family dialogue is so well written but I never care about the story line - Ghost Whisperer seems to be written for my 13 year old neice and when I see the UFO shows on history channel...well, it's hard for me to imagine that this was the inspiration for the X-files.

Tammy the All Powerful has graced us with the power to bring back old time favorites, I'm sure she wouldn't short us by not letting us bring them back as they were in their prime.

bring them back as they were in their prime.

I had completely forgotten how bad it was when Mulder was gone...

Another obscure show I just thought of that I liked (speaking of one of the partners leaving) was Silk Stalkings in it's prime.

I remember Hill Street Blues... "Let's Be Careful Out There..."

I liked it quite a bit, but I loved NYPD Blue... I think they took a similar formula and kept it going with NYPD Blue. NYPD Blue is one of my favorite shows of recent years that is no longer in production... Probably on my top three list...

Golden Girls, Andy Griffith, Leave it to Beaver, Mama's Family, All in the Family (Archie Bunker). That's about all that I can think of off-hand. Lucy was good when I was a kid but I find that one to be very silly now.

Does anybody remember a cartoon in the 50s called "Crusader Rabbit"? I used to watch that while I was waiting for the school bus and haven't been able to find anybody who's even heard of it. I think that it was popular about the same time that Underdog came out.
