What shows do you love today -- what are your can't miss TV events during the week?

I have a couple shows a week I watch, other than that, I may watch CSI re-runs or read in the evening. Not into the reality or contest shows at all...

During the normal "season" I am hooked on Lost. I also catch most Cold Case episodes.

During summer re-run months, I am hooked on 4400 and also catch The Dead Zone that comes on after fairly often... Both are on USA during the summer months, only.

The only SITCOM I try to watch is 2 1/2 Men...

I enjoy CSI, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, Missing Without a Trace, and all the Law and Orders. I also like the animal police shows on Animal Planet, several police type shows on Court TV and Discovery Times. In the off season, I do enjoy America's Got Talent and Last Comic Standing.

In the fall I won't miss NCIS, Las Vegas, or Antiques Roadshow. The last one drives hubby nuts. He won't miss a Red Sox or Pats game. I even had to buy him a portable TV so when we do our craft shows, he can watch his Patriots! (Last year he drained the battery in the car listening to the game, thank goodness for AAA).

I dunno, I like the cold case and Law and order shows too..also SG1 which is ending and SG1 Atlantis

I like the Discovery Channel, A&E and Biography Channel. Especially the Hitler files.

Mostly I watch while on the computer, things like Lifetime Movie Network, Pay Per View, Blind Date, Friends. I absolutely loved the Pussycat Dolls and wouldn't miss it for anything. Also I liked the Impersonator program that just ended a couple of weeks ago.

I have to admit that I watch very little TV anymore. Being out in the country, we ended up with a satellite dish so we watch movies more than anything. Otherwise I read. I just had to finish the last Harry Potter book this last weekend so now I am starting Angels and Demons.

If you are a reader, have you read the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabaldon? Start with book 1, Outlander and you will be hooked. She has 6 written so far. It is about time travel, history, romance, adventure all rolled up into at least 600 pages. Enjoy!

Does Rowling tie everything up neatly in the end? I just tore through the first 6 books but it will be awhile before I get to #7 - I've been impressed with how well she pulls elements in and weaves them so neatly together over 6 books, but there are a few items, (like Herimone and S.P.E.W.) that I'm wondering if there was a point.

Angels and Demons is a good read - but I'd like to know what you think of the last 3 chapters or so when you're done!

I think Rowling did an excellent job in the last book tying in all of the subtle clues within the other books. We have several avid Harry Potter fans at work so all of us got together before right before the arrival of our last book and shared our ideas as to various elements that should be revealed in the last book. It was really funny as we all had different ideas on some things and all of us were correct in some aspects of what we thought would happen.

I'll let you know after I read Angels and Demons. I had finished the Davinci Code and was going to start on Angels and Demons when my Harry Potter book arrived.

Normally I'll watch Law and Order reruns. Like it or not, I get to see Doodlebops and Handy Manny 3-4 times a week. But the only two shows I try to actually catch are If Walls Could Talk on HGTV and Ghost Hunters - I just know some episode that big guy is going to go off and tell some one they need a shrink not a ghost hunter.

24 and Battlestar Galactica are my two favorites. I also like Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet. When football season arrives I'll watch the Colts and some other interesting match ups.

Yes, but don't forget Patriots like to eat Colts,slow roasted with BBQ sauce! hee hee

Really??? Seems like Colts ate Patriots last season....fried and very tasty

The Closer and America's Got Talent in summer; Medium and Heroes in regular season. Also Dr. Who.
Have watched the three shows of Saving Grace, just to see if they can pull it together; perhaps so but I don't care for the actress's mumblymouth voice no matter what. (FYI that is not an Okie accent, nor have there been any semblances of what OK looks like other than a view of the police station and the Memorial)
Was sad when they took Studio 60 off the air; it was well-written. Enjoyed the talent show for Grease.
