Me, I can't drink beer. Ugh, can't stand the stuff, makes me want to gag. Wine? Pass the bottle! Started out drinking the junk in college, now I will splurge and pay good money for a good bottle. Also got hooked on vintage port. yum! Wanna see my wine cellar? (Just a corner of the cellar)

...or vodka!

Actually I'll drink all of the above. Beer is for talking bull with friends, wine is for dinner and vodka use to be my bad date drink. These days mama usually gets only one drink a week - Friday after Punky goes to bed while Big Scary Man and I recap the week and it's usually vodka.

I use to love the hunt for decent wines at cheap prices, it's surprising what you can get for $10. My favorite was Fat Bastard which lead to a few odd looks when I gave bottles as gifts.

I can't stand beer, but I do like an occasional glass of wine. My preferences are chardonnay or merlot, depending on what I'm eating or my mood. I don't like any of the hard stuff. In college, one of my girl friends drank peppermint schnapps. I can't even stand the smell of that, so I don't know how she could drink it.

Did she ever put it in hot chocolate in winter?

I don't know. I just remember her drinking it straight, no ice or mixed with anything.

Yuck!!! But, it does give hot chocolate a nice new tast occasionally.

Not fond of the Patriots anything but do like the occasional beer on a hot day after working in the yard. I enjoy wine or strawberry margarita's when out for dinner and sometimes a glass of wine after a bad day at work. In fact, may be having some of that tonight Also like Kahlua and Cream and Amaratto (sp?).

I am an infrequent drinker -- maybe 10 or less drinks a year...

I like Corona with lime for beer. Strawberry Daqueries and Lime Margaritas are yummy...

I tend to prefer white wines (Zinfandal), but have neighbors that are quite the wine enthusiasts. When over at their house for dinner, I'll try a red with dinner. Usually, I don't care for reds, but once in a while they'll have one I like (I smile and sip it whether I like it or not). I need to write down the bottles I like when they serve it so I can remember. I am learning that all wines are not created equal. I've been afraid of reds because I've always had bad ones in the past. They opened a 30 year old bottle not long ago that was out of this world. I was pretty honored to try it. It was pretty expensive and rare. I do take a bottle when I visit. A brand they like but I don't...

I prefer white wine over beer. Any other hard liquor is out completely because I hate hangovers. Rarely drink at all since I can get crazy drunk very quickly and always regret it afterwards.

Occasionally beer, like at a German restaurant or if there's a particular one made there. White or light wines preferred to red although have discovered a red muscadine that I love. (pale red) A few mixed drinks but nothing regularly. Of course, a good margarita with Mexican food sometimes. Frozen, in summer.

Definitely beer. I'm not fussy, but I do like some of the craft and microbrewery bottled beers. My favorite thing is getting a 12 pack of 'beers of the world' from World Market in St. Louis when I am visiting there, and having a bottle from many different countries. At home, the cheaper the better, LOL.

I don't like either. I will once in a great while have a mudslide or cranberry with Sky Vodka.
