When was the last time you had a pedicure or manicure?
I've never had a professional nail job top or bottom. I did my own nails as a teenager but gave it up in my early 20's. I started to paint my toenails again this summer after Big Scary Man told me he thought painted piggies were just the cutest girly thing...
Never had a pedicure. Toes are not fond of being touched but used to have artificial nails. Stopped that about 7 years ago and now just let mine be. Once in a great while, I get in the mood and pull out my nail kit and buff and rub and put oils on them but that is pretty rare.

There are a few treats that I like when on vacation, one is getting a manicure and/or pedicure. Figure I work hard enough for it! Can't put nail polish on myself without making it look like a two year old did it.
A few years ago hubby gave me a gift certificate for a massage, and I was hooked. Now once a month I go, it is a great stress-buster. The fellow who is my massage therapist (also in my yoga class) is great, his chichaua (sp?) Max is with him at work, and he lays on my legs. Matt asked me if I minded, and said "heck no, this is an 8 lb dog, I have a 15 lb cat, this is nothing!".
Never. Occasionally I used to slap a coat of clear nail polish on my nails, but I never did get into the long or colored nail thing. Between gardening, bead and jewelry-making, and working in food service, I've kept my nails short and unpolished for a long time. And don't even think of touching my feet! LOL

Last professional manicure probably three years ago. Don't remember why that was. Do my own weekly. World class nail-biter until mid-forties (seriously, down to blood, some only probably a quarter inch of nail left) Now that I have nails, enjoy polishing them although decals, etc. left to the young-uns.
If I don't keep polish on them, they split and once that starts, I want to bite again. Never had a pedicure. Not only don't want someone messing with my toes but have always thought it strange that someone would want to work as a pedicurist. Yuck!
Because Pam is a nail tech, my nails are done every couple of weeks, sometimes at home and sometimes at the spa. Pedicure is always at the spa.
She's starting a new spa in a week or so and will also be airbrushing tans.
