Ok, new topic- what do you do after the damn alarm goes off? Who gets taken care of first, you or the kitties?

In our house, I hit the shower after the alarm goes off, then HRH demands breakfast. Can't even pour my coffee. Then, in now paticular order, it is coffee, lunch making, Bradley the kitten's breakfast, etc.

For me it's alarm........kettle on then kitties need their breakfast kitty milk, then I'm free to get on with my breakfast, cleaning litter trays and getting dressed for work

Well Crash started screaming around 5ish this morning. I ignored her until the alarm went off at 6:15. Than I put my contacts in got up, she had food and water. Got dressed. Put Mya's collar on went down stairs. Crash didn't come down (she has to come down or gets locked in). What a pain. Anyway I let Mya out to potty than fed her. Made tea, packed my lunch. This is how most days go.

when the alarm goes off, Big Scary Man leaves the bed and Lizzy kitty enters it. I'm good as long as I don't open my eyes, once she sees the whites of my eyes, the meowing starts. Annie moves from the end of the bed to my shoulder.

About twenty minutes later, my "alarm" starts yowling about her cold wet diaper. Change her, bring her to bed for snuggles. She'll eventually roll on top of me, announce she is up and attempt to pull Annie's tail. You'd think after going through this day after day Annie would learn to move away!

Off to the highchair, passing the bathroom where Stink will be waiting in the doorway. Feed the screaming Lizzy, feed the kid, feed Stink and Annie. Only then does mama get her morning caffine.

Kitties first. For the past three years, I've had a 6AM/6PM medicate a kitty routine. Now that I no longer have medications to dispense, Pookey and I haven't shaken the 6AM wake up routine... I stumble to the kitchen at 6AM and give him a treat and then start my morning getting ready for work. I did shave off 10 minutes, I used to get up at 5:50AM as I needed a few extra minutes for the meds... Trying to sleep in some on the weekends now that I don't have to be up at 6, but not much success. We both wake up automatically at 6...

After the alarm goes off, I hit the snooze a couple times until my back up alarm goes off. Then I come out and get my coffee that is already waiting for me. After I have a cup then the furries get fed and I check my email while they all eat. Then a shower, the paper reading time, collecting food bowl time, get ready for work and go. I continue drinking my coffee through the routine and take the last of it with me to drink in the car.
