Do you collect anything? Dust doesn't count. Shame on some of you for thinking of it...

I don't really collect anything. I do have a sunflower theme I started in my kitcen a couple years ago, so I've picked up sunflower items the past couple years when I see something I think will go well...

I did have a collection of small/mini decorative wooden birdhouses about 5 years ago. My collection culminated one Christmas when my Mom sent me 9 of them when I mentioned I had picked up a few (to give her an inexpensive idea).

I also gave her the idea to get me Willow Tree Angels (a natural looking resin angel statue). Another inexpensive gift idea. I had gotten a keepsake box by the artist as a gift and liked the look and picked up a couple Angels. I have a feeling my collection will grow...

The only thing collected in this house (besides hubby's WW2 DVD collection) are Christmas ornaments. I love to pick up something unique every year, so our tree is a tree of memories.

I use to collect antique hats, but they went into boxes several years ago and currently only one is on display in Punky's room. Several went to a new home in the art dept of a local high school a few weeks ago. The kids have got to be lovin' that 1970's pimp daddy lid.....

I also have several pieces of stone work from Carruth Studios including a memorial stone for Romeo, but only two pieces are out year round, the rest are either Christmas pieces or are rotated out of the box from time to time.

I still have the handful of Bryer horses from childhood tho, safely tucked away.

Lots of small collections of different types of old things, especially wooden. I count seven or more of anything as a collection but some categories have more.
