Are you heading to someone's house for Thanksgiving this year or hosting family/friends in your house?

Up until last year, I hosted my cousin from Philly and her growing family in my small condo. They are now up to the two adults and four kids under the age of 10. It is quite cramped and energetic (and a bit hectic) with so many charged up little ones running around my small place.

But, due to my Dad in Iowa's out-of-town job the past couple years, he is only guaranteed to be home with any advance notice on Christmas and Thanksgiving. So, starting last year, I head to Iowa for Thankgiving for my annual visit. (Yay to Dad for giving me a reason to save my condo and my sanity at Thanksgiving)

I go to my cousin's in Philly for Christmas where it is still energetic, but they have a large house for the kids to run in.

We have not really decided about Thanksgiving yet. We lost my Dad a week ago and Mom is waffling between having Thanksgiving at her house or us just going out to eat this year. We will do whatever she wants. She has always had it in the past and kind of wants to this year but just isn't sure. The important thing is that we will be together where ever it is

Thanks. Are you fixing Thanksgiving? I am sure that Lizzy would love some since she has learned how to get her way

Lizzy is gonna hate me. I'm cooking, but not in my own house. We drive to Grandma's 3 hours away where I will prepare the roast beast for our holiday feast. On Friday we will travel to MI to see friends.

Two days of dry crunchies and no turkey? Lizzy is gonna make me pay fur sure......
