I have a little boy in my classroom that was told last Friday that a family had decided to adopt him. He spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday with this family. All he has talked about all week is he will have his own mommy and daddy and two big brothers. Today we got a call from DHS saying the family decided they didn't want to adopt him.
He is finding out tonight. Please pray for him and send glows. I hope a family will come along soon that will love him!

Big GLOWS for the little boy. How cruel to get his hopes up and then change their minds. Poor little guy. It just isn't fair.

They haven't told him yet he isn't going to be having a new mommy and daddy. The poor kid. I feel so bad for him.

Poor thing, just like here...I bet they are waiting for him to figure it out and he will. Kids are smart and they catch on to that routine real quick.

How awful. They should have the decency to talk to him and explain that it isn't him, it is something in their situation, whatever, something to let him know it is not his fault. Although it won't take the pain away, it may help him some to not think it was something he did...

Thanks everyone.

The reason he doesn't know is because his foster mom thought it would be better for his therapist to tell him than the stupid DHS worker. He will find out on Tuesday.
