Cute while it lasted....

Yesterday Quentin was on my lap and Star decided to join him. The cats never share anything, so it was sweet having both of them at my lap at the same time. Crowded, but sweet. LOL. It lasted maybe ten minutes, then they started fighting with each other. I was surprised they even shared my lap. I think they've only done it once before. Sometimes the cats do unexpected things. It probably won't happen again for a long time. I always hoped they would be close, but it never worked out that way. They tolerate each other, but that's it.

What a special moment for you!

Only once did Stanley and Pookey both fall asleep on me. It is a memory I keep forever. It was about three years ago and I was taking a nap in the recliner and woke to find Stanley laying across my tummy and Pookey curled between my knees. Both were very soundly asleep. I woke up and watched them as long as I possibly could before my kidneys just could not take the pressure of Stanley anymore.

Enjoy the precious memory and moment -- only happened once for me in 16 years... My two curled up often together, but never both on me at the same time.

How sweet of them to give you their own special Xmas present. I am lucky.....I guess. I often have up to 3 on me when I am on the recliner and they will switch off. One will get down and someone else gets up.

How sweet and lucky for you! That's never happened with any of these four. Mine don't share well either.
They'd never get the "plays well with others" line checked on their report cards! MOL What a nice gift to you.
