Holidays are for (fur) kids!

So what did the furry friends get for Christmas?

Being married to a dawg man, this was the first year the cats didn't get a gift - no furry mice, no jingle toy, no catnip.

But don't weep for the poor, abused pussy cats - during the week Big Scary Man was off from work we had crab cakes twice, baked tilipa, and smoked salmon. Oh! and cornish hens. You know, I can never eat a whole one, and the fridge was so full of leftovers already....

I think I was forgiven for not putting out a stocking for the felines.

Sounds like your furries made out like bandits, even if no officially wrapped gifts! No cat presents here; humans were lucky to get one. Minimal holiday humans here.

Star and Quentin got a catspa from Drs. Foster and Smith and some catnip. The catspa is a round shape with grooming brushes and a part for them to rub their cheeks. Like a self-groomer. They seemed to like it at first, but I'm not sure how much use it's gotten since then. They like the catnip I gave them, although I have to watch them closely because they tend to fight over it.

For the first time in years, Grandma send Pookey a gift. He got some jingle balls. He was utterly fascinated with them when they were wrapped up in the tube with gift wrap making strange noises. Once he saw them, he wasn't as enthralled. He has a million of them already, LOL...

I also picked up a new treat I've never given him over the holidays and he is freaky nuts over it, LOL. Wants it all the time. It's Pounce Three Cheese flavor crunchy treats. Won't touch any other treats I put out, just these, LOL...

The furkids here got:
Crinkle balls
Catnip Mice
Fuzzy Balls
One really annoying (but much loved by all cats) mouse that squeaks when you bat at it or when I step on it or kick it
Furry mice
Catnip on Xmas Eve and New Years Eve
Pounce treats
Leftovers from all meals, of course.

Hubby said Bradley needed a Christmas present (Smig and Kasha didn't get one) so I bought him some new jingle balls and catnip mouse. Smiggle got some of my New Year's eve lobster, so she forgave me. Gave my Mom's big NFC Ghazi 2 bags of Good Life treats. That cat knows the crinkle of the bag, and all 20 lbs of him comes running! She said I created a monster. Unlikely, as he is a big mush ball.

Bradley got an Xmas present and Smig and HRH did not?? The poor girls, treated like step children. I know for a fact that Bradley also had some lobster and loved it. Poor Kasha!! Even your Mom's cat got a present from you. ALL of mine got a present, even my brothers dumb as a box of rock pit mix, Pal got a bone from me. Riley got some treats, she doesn't like toys or bones and even the hamster got some treats. Guess that is what you expect from someone who like the patriots. Teehee, chuckle!!!
