Do you water your lawn during the summer months?

Nope. We're not being environmental friendly, its just the neither of us really like mowing the grass, why encourage dramatic growth just to keep up with the Joneses?

We've looked into grey water systems for the next house, but there are so many regulations on them I doubt we could afford to have one put it. All I want to do is flip a valve switch to redirect my shower water to a holding tank so I can water my tomatoes later that day. Seems simple enough

Nope. The lawn only gets the extra sprinkler water that goes to the veggies and floweres. We have a huge garden, with veggies, annuals, and a big periannal bed with my roses (which soak up alot of water) so my lawn is way down on the water list. Lucky we do have a well, even though it can run dry if we are not careful.

I water sometimes if we are allowed. Last summer due to lack of rain they ordered us not to water and I kinda got out of the habit. Tomato plants get all the water they want though

My people don't water the lawn...

Occasionally, not regularly. Depends on the summer and how hot. Yard has some kind of good grass the guy put in forty years ago so would hate to see it die. Before I lived here,
I never watered since the yard/grass was just whatever came up, wherever (out of town).
