Me Wub Wub Wub

cyclopsgrl Jan 27, 2008 09:29 AM

I have to share -- Pookey has started the funniest habit since it is now just the two of us. He meows when he eats, drinks, and sometimes when he uses the litter box. Meows to let me know he is about to do something important, I need to take note.

The funniest is when he drinks. He meows loudly up until he actually starts licking the water and even a little while he is drinking. It is loud MEOWs that echo in the bowl, then Me Wub Wub Wub, Me Wub Wub Wub (with his face in the water), Wubble Wubbble Wubble... The Me Wub Wub Wub/Wubbles are so cute... If I hear him meow, from another room, I ususally know what he is up to and if I say, "Just drink your water /or/ Just eat..." he will usually do it since he knows I know what he is up to... Strange. Just started the habit immediately after it was just the two of us. Will not eat or drink without a meow session first.

How cute, guess he doesn't want to feel like he is dining alone. So requires your response. I bet those water meows are cute. My siamese used to meow when she ate. Little short Wow, wow wow's. I was very cute.

Really makes you wonder what the brothers were up to all day, doesn't it? Did they gossip like granny's sewing circle? Talk about the neighbors? Discuss your soap? How funny he is trying to get you to fill the gap.

Lizzy has found a new passion in our house. Below is a photo of where she has been for about 3 days now.

Wonder what she is thinking???

judging from the middle of the night paw smacking sounds? - she's hunting the bubbles. Lizzy my mighty huntress.....

Pookey understands exactly what Lizzy is thinking and he is not sharing. He is the King of fixations. Here is a shot of him staring at the icemaker in the freezer. Why is he laying down, because he sits for as long as he can looking at it and finally has to lay down and rest while watching it make all sorts of noises... Goes on for a day or so when I turn it on. Fortunately, I take pity and only turn it on once every couple months just to keep it working...

Pookey is so cute. I can imagine him making sounds as he's eating. I hope you pay attention when he talks. He's telling you important things.
He also works hard, guarding the ice machine when it's on. Wouldn't want you to face that ice maching monster by yourself!
