Daytime Snoring

So, how much time equates a decent nap for you if you can fit one in?

My friend Denise and I are nappers. We know not to call each other on a Saturday (about the only time we can nap if it fits in) from about 2 to 6PM. Why? We both feel a nap is not a nap if it isn't 2-3 hours.

On the flip, her husband Mike, my friend Robin, and my mom contend a nap is 30 minutes for them.

What is your nap standard (if you had time to take one).

I prefer around an hour but actually can feel rested in thirty minutes. I've read that twenty to thirty minutes is best because longer than that can make one groggy. Personally, I never noticed that. What I have noticed is that I sleep much better (sounder) and feel more rested if it's a nap in the afternoon rather than at night. Think that's psychological.

I haven't slept a whole night since the little pink monster arrived two years ago so I'll take any nap I can - 20 minutes, 2 hours, its all good.

The kitty girls get shut up for a couple hours each day so they can siesta without being tormented by the small child - sometimes when I open the door again they look so drowsy peaceful I envy them.
