Can they be used together at once. I'm getting my MVB bulb today but the flouresent I have is still good and I don't really want to not use it. No harm would be done with that amount of UV light, would it?

they should be fine used together, the sun emits far more UVB then those lights combined. i dont know wether or not one effects the other light, that is the only thing, perhaps someone will have some info for you on this.
