Psstt! Wanna buy a bag?

Last fall I thought I'd lost my catnip plant (again!) to a neighborhood feral. It was down to a few leafless sticks left on a plant that never really took off anyway, it was so abused, so I didn't attempt to protect the roots for the winter.

Today, Punky, Stink and I were in the backyard and lo! what did I find? The catnip roots survived the winter, and it's coming back thick, wide, dense and lush. Stink alerted me. She says its good, real good.

Let's hope the weather is kind while it re-establishes itself. My parents took in two more cats over the winter, thats two more cats to keep er, "happy."

I have never had luck with growing one. If mine outside the neighbor's cats murder it and inside mine do. I tried it on the screen porch once and the ferals broke in and murder it in it's sleep!!!!

LOL -- My first thought from your title was you were trying to sell off something cool like an Armadillo bag or something (someone still hasn't posted a picture for us).

Have a co-worker who has catnip and she brings it in from time to time. Pookey isn't as crazy about it, so I probably won't get as much as I used to.

I have no idea what or who you are talking about....it's a basket not a bag.

Oh good grief!! I don't have a digital camera but I will try to get a picture this weekend and then you get to wait until I finish the roll on the furries and get it developed. At least yours is semi cute.

You guys are seriously tempting me to scout the secondhand stores or flea markets around here and send you some real armadillo gifts!
