Did you get a chance to see it?
It was on from 8PM to Midnight here. I made it almost all the way thru -- dozed off the last half hour. Did catch the torch lighting on CNN this morning.
Kind of torn on it as the money spent was staggering -- in light of the so many in need in the country.
But, maybe this will be a step towards healing inside the country and with their world relations.
Who knows, but they did an amazing job...

I watched most of it. It sure was amazing especially those 2500 "drummers". That was really something. Still kinda torn about it being there and not happy about what they did to rid their city of stray animals so that it would "look pretty". But I know many cultures think of pets differently than we do.
