Pookey, the Great Hunter Kitty

cyclopsgrl Sep 20, 2008 08:18 PM

A bunch of games came loaded on this new computer. I am not much of a gamer, but I have tried the traditional ones I am familiar with (Hearts, Poker, Solitare, chess...) a couple times. I hit the button to show "most popular" games and one called "Fate" came to the top of the list. One of those dungeon type games. For some reason, I thought I'd give it a try. It was one of those one game free trial deals.

I was able to select a character that looks similar to me (short redhead with glasses) and I could have a sidekick, cat or dog. Naturally, I picked an orange cat and named him "Pookey"

Well, it was fun because it was so funny. "Pookey" acted like a normal cat in it, all over the place. I spent more time trying to save him than myself. He was pretty good with the giant rats, tho. LOL. We collected a lot of powerful amulents, potions, weapons, gold, etc., except I couldn't figure out how to use them. I had a hammer (like Thor) and smashed my way thru the dungeon. There was one point I had so much stuff, I was told to use it or leave some behind because I couldn't carry it all. Well, I couldn't figure out how to use it.

But, I became an expert with the hammer. Smashed everything in sight, LOL. POW, POW, POW! Got to level 3, then had to end the game (and my free trial) to go to dinner...

Thanks. There was one time where he sat down and started cleaning his face -- right as we were about to be attacked, LOL. Typical...
