Kittens Everywhere

A co-worker let me know the other day his wife saw a kitten at the SPCA and wanted it. He thought he convinced her not to get it (she is allergic), but we know better. So, yesterday, he let me know they are picking up a female 4 m/o kitten from the SPCA Saturday. He had a million questions and I sent him off with the basics to pick up first. They have a 5 y/o Cairn Terrier (like Toto) and we talked about integrating the two. They also have two girls (human) still at home.

I got home and a friend to check up on her and found out her elderly cat passed away about a week ago. But, her husband was surprising her with a female 4 m/o kitten from the SPCA they are picking up Saturday.

Talk about a conicidence. We think they may be from the same litter, I am going to ask the co-worker on Monday which litter they adopted from (apparently there are two, but one is most likely both are adopting from).

They may be raising sisters!

I made up a toy gift pack for both of them. Thru the years, I have picked up millions of toys for the cats and almost everything comes in a two or four pack. So, I have many new toys never used since I only pulled out one at a time...

I made up the toy gift packs under VERY CLOSE SUPERVISION from Pookey, LOL...

That's cool, Tammy.

For the family that's not had a cat or not one in a long time, pick up a copy of Gina Spadafori's Cats for Dummies - 2nd Edition. You can find used ones on Amazon for not a huge amount. Of course, you can also give them the url for CatHobbyist.com so they can come here and find good information in the features area, on the boards or in chats. We always like to help people and their new furries.

2 friends with new kittens. How neat. Nice of Pookey to supervise and make sure that the toys were all fine for the babies.
