Male and Female not mating

Hi,

We have a 18 months old pure Persian male that we needed to breed. We bought a pure female Persian that was about 30 months old. She keeps fighting him and running away from him.

Is there any advise to help us get them to mate?

It sounds as if your female is not in heat or at the point in her cycle to be receptive to mating.

Breeding cats, or any animal, takes research, knowledge, dedication and a lot of money. I suggest you check the books available in the CatHobbyist bookstore on breeding and genetics. I've posted the link below.
