Where did they go?

Midask9 Mar 11, 2003 11:53 PM

Up until I had my last female spayed (she hadn't ever been in heat), I had at least 4 ferals who would hang out in my yard. Since having her spayed, POOF, they are gone!! Have they written me off? I really miss seeing them, and was planning to start TNR when it warmed up. Any ideas on how I can get them back?

Well, my guess is that she is not giving off that "unspayed female" pheromone that quite possibly has kept them in the yard. Maybe thay have latched on to the scent of a female that is in heat and went off to get lucky or maybe they just decided a change of scenery would be nice. Hope they come back so you can do your TNR thing. It's great that you have that planned!

One word: TUNA...

Maybe if you put something stinky like it you may have them back around...No lady kits needed

Not yet, sorry, didn't know you were waiting. I will post an update if and when they arrive, it has been rainy here, so they may well be holed up in one of the neighboring barns, waiting for the weather to dry up. Thanks for being concerned, I really want them to come back.
