hey dr.tobin what does cat flab feel like? also my vet said piper
was okay and probably extra flab since I have cut down feeding
my cats how will it take for piper to lose cat fat?

Cats should look sleek, without any skin hanging down by the belly. If you cut out dry food, and carbohydrates, feeding only meat and canned food, your cat will lose weight without being starved. I can't say ho long it will take, as it depends on a number of factors, but it will happen.

If the dry food is gone, you would be surprised at how much they like canned food, or even fresh meat. You are asking for problems if you feed your cats dry food.
