bloody mucus at the end of cats stool

v_ballplay Jan 06, 2007 03:30 PM

I have a 2 year old male flame point siamese that has had a problem of pooping outside the litter box since we got him this summer. Although he has been better I have just noticed that he had a bloody mucus at the end of his stool. Is this serious? What could it be?

Have the stool tested for parasites, and treat if needed. Put the cat on a raw meat and bone diet, along with a probiotic, and give homeopathic Mercurius vivus 30c once a day until the bloody mucous stops.
