can tumor grow back?

my cat piper had her stomach tumor remove last year and her vet said it could grow back how can it?
because I feeling piper as another tumor again.

A new tumor can grow from any tumor cells that were not removed when the old tumor was removed. Tumors grow when the conditions are right for their growth, so even if the old tumor was completely removed, if the conditions that led to the growth of the first tumor are still present, it is very likely that a new tumor will develop.
